The story behind Villager
Dear reader,
Anyone who knows me, knows how deeply I care about friendship and community. How I love bringing people together, cooking for the people I love, and creating memorable evenings for others. A year ago, a friend told me: “You know you’re really good at creating traditions in our friend group? Maybe you could turn this into your work one day.”
Over the past months, I spent hundreds of hours reading about the science of friendship, talking to people, and researching about what actually brings us closer. And together with a group of friends as passionate about friendship and community as I am, Villager was built with one fundamental purpose: to help people spend more time together in real life and show up for each other.
It is a product built by humans, for humans. With love, with intention, and with a little bit of magic. I truly hope Villager helps bring you a tiny bit closer to the ones you care about.
